It is a nice retouch, but you potentially changed that person to look like someone else.. i wouldn't be happy if that was a photo of me.

i initially felt the same way when i viewed this -- but in watching the group #RetouchMasters i've seen that a lot of those who are trying really hard to improve their skills try on really really challenging photos and intentionally try to make them look drastically different. i agree that, if asked, i wouldn't be pleased to see my own face completely altered, but i have come to understand why such drastic changes make for great practice for someone trying to improve their skills. still, i see your point entirely as i'd felt the same -- just wanted to point out the motives behind a lot of these intense alterations

Yeah I know :)
I mean for a fashion magazine cover this photo would be appropriate with how its edited, but if i was a client, wanting some glamour shots, i'd still want to look real

i completely agree with you. as a client, i'd want it to look like me. i think more what i was getting at, isn't just the retouchers trying to make a glamour shot, but also using photos where they can work on multiple things to get the most out of their practice. as in this shot they could work on the freckles, complexion, hair, eye shape, makeup .. bunch of things in one image. now, of course if you want to keep it looking natural, you only alter maybe one or two things vs a whole handful. changing too much in one image will make them very unnatural. i think they're just trying to get the most out of one stock image to improve all their skills vs. actually maintaining the naturalness sometimes. ...ha, if that makes any sense.
